Demonstrating Autonomous Docking Technology: ISRO deployed two spacecraft into orbit, initially placed 5 km apart. Scientists will maneuver these spacecraft to within 3 meters of each other and attempt docking at an altitude of 470 km.
Testing Spacecraft Capabilities:
SDX01 (Chaser): Equipped with a high-resolution camera.
SDX02 (Target): Features a miniature multispectral payload and a radiation monitor. These payloads will provide high-quality images of Earth and support studies of natural resources and vegetation.
